Citadel Base Paints are the foundation upon which a good paint job is built. Whether you’re painting miniatures for display or for the tabletop this paint set is the perfect starting point. Base paints contain more pigment than others, which means they give strong, solid coats. This makes them ideal for applying as a foundation for other paints.

• Simply place your Base paints on a palette, thin them with a small drop of water, and apply them to the miniatures with your brush of choice.
• Two thin coats is usually enough to get complete coverage. Make sure each coat is dry before you apply the next.
• All Citadel paints are water-based acrylic that are designed for use on plastic, metal, and resin Citadel miniatures.
• One pot contains 12ml of Base paint.
