Created for Upper Key Stage 2, Years 5 and 6, this Photo Activity Pack invites children to visit a small village in Southern India in order to find out about the work of a local charity, the Institute for Rural Development Trust. Using photographs taken in Mettupalayam, a real village in India, 90km to the SW of Chennai (previously known as Madras) they visit a range of projects that the charity supports.

The pack contains 23 laminated A4 sheets containing photos and 29 pages of detailed teachers notes, lesson plans, suggested activities and photocopiable materials
